Johnson, a current visual arts major at SUNY Albany, is an alumni of Westchester Community College and Alexander Hamilton high school. She is the author of "Sibling Secrets" and "Sibling Sacrifices", a series which she published out of high school and second year at Westchester Community College. She has attended book signings at Barnes and Noble, her high school, after-school programs, and local events.
Set in modern day in the small fictional town of Clemming, "Saphora vol.1 Retention" is a modern story of not-so-modern Saphora Kiran, an extraterrestrial victim of amnesia who is the only hope her inherited kingdom has of surviving a revenge-driven take over. But when she's faced with an assassin from the enemy lines, Saphora must find it within her - and her memory, to manage to stay alive long enough to get back home and fight on her own soil. But can she?
Saphora is a tale about a relatable girl with a not-so relatable life, filled with suspense, revelations, and just enough romance to keep you wondering. It's got everything you could ever want and need in a sci-fi/fantasy that will take you on the ride of your life.
