West Michigan tech company, BizStream, receives accolades for leadership, wellness, and business practices
BizStream, Grand Rapids area web and software development company, received accolades this fall, including the business's founder and senior developer, Mark Schmidt, being named by Grand Rapids Business Journal as a 40 Under Forty honoree. Additionally, the company has received recognition as a champion by Best and Brightest in Wellness™ and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Since 1995, through its 40 Under Forty list, the Grand Rapids Business Journal has served to connect young business leaders with one another and the greater business community. Schmidt was selected from hundreds of nominees for the list of 40. The Best and Brightest in Wellness™ is an innovative initiative that recognizes and celebrates quality and excellence in worksite health promotion. This awards symposium celebrates the companies that are making their business, their employees and the community a healthy place to live and thrive.

BizStream's A+rating with the Better Business Bureau is based on 16 factors, along with the length of time in business, complaints filed with the BBB, and sufficient background information. Though BizStream is newly accredited with the bureau, the company is committed to maintaining its rating by continuing to provide excellent products, services, and customer support.
