  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) December 10, 2014 - West Coast Aerial Photography, Inc., today announced that its President, Mark Holtzman, has three aerial images that will be featured in the Annenberg Space for Photography's exhibition Sink or Swim: Designing for a Sea Change, which will explore the human responses to rising sea levels. The show will be curated by Frances Anderton, an architectural writer and NPR radio Host and Executive Producer, and will, for the first time, feature commissioned, in addition to archival works, by six photographers.

"We are delighted that these new works tell such powerful stories about resiliency, climate change and architecture as well as engage with viewers on a humanistic level," said Wallis Annenberg, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of the Annenberg Foundation.

Featuring photographs of the Los Angeles River, Malibu and Oakland, Mr. Holtzman's aerial images add a different perspective. "Aerial photography is a perfect medium for exploring climate change and environmental changes," explains Mr. Holtzman, "because it lets you see the big picture, not just one small part."

The Annenberg Space for Photography is a cultural center in Los Angeles, that hosts various photography exhibitions and lectures.

Sink or Swim: Designing for a Sea Change will run from December 13, 2014 to May 3, 2015 at the Annenberg Space for Photography.
