Welbeck Host 6 Nations Bash with Rugby Greats

(1888PressRelease) February 22, 2012 - Welbeck Group recently hosted a special 6 Nations Evening for clients and guests at their offices in Basinghall Street. World Cup Winners and former England Internationals, Richard Hill MBE and Andy Gomarsall MBE, were special guests along with former Scotland winger Kenny Logan.

The evening was in partnership with London Scottish FC and Klas International. It was attended by clients of Welbeck Group, together with Rugby supporters from London Scottish and their main sponsors Deutsche Bank.

Guests were given the opportunity to pose questions to the former internationals on the panel about the Calcutta Cup, with Kenny Logan coming under particular fire over Scotland's defeat. Other subjects included fascinating insights to the World Cup 2003 from Richard Hill, plus the panel gave their predictions for the 6 Nations and opinions on a host of other Rugby subjects.

Over 100 guests enjoyed the discussion with Rupert Crowfoot from Six Physio winning a bottle of Bollinger signed by all the players in the business card draw.

Former England flanker, Richard Hill said afterwards: "I had great fun. It was a good mix of business people and rugby fans and it's a pleasure to talk about an England victory again."

This was echoed by his former teammate Andy Gomarsall: "I am a client of Welbeck, so I am a big fan of their energy and ethos. The evening reflected how they perform as a company. I really enjoyed the chance to have some fun and talk to the real fans of the game."
