Paddleboard Orlando has built a solid reputation as a way to experience the City Beautiful’s recreation up close and personal in a fun, active way.

Now, the two are coming together for a new chapter in Orlando outdoor recreation. Paddleboard Orlando will move to its new home at Wekiva Island on Nov. 1.

Paddleboard Orlando provides paddleboard lessons and tours in a variety of locations around Central Florida. The company also rents and sells paddleboards from its shop. Formerly based in Winter Park, all operations will now run through the Wekiva Island location.

Located on the Wekiva River, Wekiva Island is a natural attraction with canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, volleyball and cornhole. The location also features a craft beer and wine bar and a full-service food truck, as well as a general store. In addition to regular monthly events, the venue hosts group and corporate events.
