  • (1888PressRelease) January 27, 2009 - Today’s high cost of living tends to put a crimp in the dreams of many brides. From the invitations to the honeymoon, the cost of the cherished fairytale wedding is escalating dramatically. You can shop on eBay, but you will have to wade through millions of other products to craft your wedding the way you dreamed it. You can Google wedding supplies, but you won’t find a comprehensive wedding site with all your needs in one place. Until now. Now there is a bride’s world on the net, InfaCity.com.

InfaCity, “where buyers and sellers of wedding products meet,” was created by Wanda McDowell, President, who was trying to find a better way to help a friend get married. The joyful occasion of the wedding was overshadowed by frustration and time it took to find everything necessary. A lot of time and money was spent in going from place to place in an attempt to find all the products needed. It was then that Wanda got the idea of an auction site exclusively for the buying and selling of wedding products. InfaCity opened in June of 2007.

You can shop for all your wedding needs at InfaCity and save 25 to 50 percent off the retail value. InfaCity services both buyers and sellers. And they took some of the risk out of purchasing online by verifying sellers, denoted with their unique logo that states “Verified Seller of InfaCity.com.” You can see a picture of this seal on their FAQ page. The site is easy to navigate. You simply register and then you can buy and/or sell on InfaCity. Classified ads are free. A fully-featured help page will assist you in navigating the site with ease.

InfaCity didn’t forget about the other services you have to hire locally, either. You can browse resources such as photographers and entertainers, location and reception sites, wedding officiants and other location-specific offerings by state. The site also houses InfaWedding, a community where brides can share their wedding experiences, give advice and share wedding day photos.

InfaCity gives away monogrammed cake toppers monthly and, every six months, the site gives away $500 in wedding products. The next cake topper winner will be announced February 1, 2009 and the next lucky winner of $500 in wedding products will be announced on June 1, 2009. You have to register and write a short essay to win the $500 in wedding products. Full instructions are on the FAQ page at the site.

InfaCity is a Member of the Association for Wedding Professionals and the Better Business Bureau. They are in the process of offering every bride who registers a free wedding web site. Quincean͂era and prom supplies are also available.

For further information, you can contact InfaCity during their regular business hours of 10AM to 6PM, EST, at 1-800-871-4773. You can also contact them by email at mcdowell ( @ ) infacity dot com and there is a contact form on the site, located at: http://www.infacity.com/contact.asp .
