WeCare tlc re-opens health and wellness centers across the US
Centers to provide select in-person and enhanced telehealth services.
- (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2020 - ORLANDO, Fla. – WeCare tlc, a nation leader in onsite and near-site employee healthcare, will be reopening health and wellness centers across the country starting Monday, May 11.
The company, which operates 54 health and wellness centers across 10 states, will begin to once again offer in-person services to patients in states that are open. WeCare tlc is committed to safety and the prevention of coronavirus and is following all procedure guidelines set by the CDC and local health officials. In addition to the select in-person services, the company will continue to utilize its enhanced telehealth services.
“We are looking forward to reopening our health and wellness centers across the country as safely as possible,” said Raegan Le Douaron, president of WeCare tlc. “At WeCare tlc we take pride in taking the best possible care of our patients.”
WeCare tlc will be conducting reopening of the health and wellness centers in three phases, allowing state and local recommendations regarding COVID-19 to determine the timing.
In phase one, the centers will provide non-emergent services, pre-employment services and curbside medication pickup. Fit-testing won’t be available at this time and all new patient visits, follow-up visits and symptomatic patient services must occur through telehealth. In phase two, new patients can be seen in person and prolonged services will be added as will on-site procedures. Symptomatic patient services must continue through telehealth. In phase three, all patient services will be available on-site.
To ensure safety of both patients and practitioners, WeCare tlc is taking thorough safety precautions. Prior to appointments, patients will participate in temperature checks and screening. Both WeCare tlc staff and patients must wear masks or facial coverings in the centers. Only call ahead-appointments will be available and patients will be immediately taken to a treatment room, rather than wait in the lobby.
“COVID-19 has already proven how important access to quality primary care is,” said Le Douaron. “At WeCare tlc, our goal is to change the way healthcare is delivered in the United States. We believe we can accomplish this by creating personal relationships with our patients and setting the foundation for excellent primary care.”
As trends begin to show a decrease in access to primary care due to COVID-19, WeCare tlc has begun to work on a solution to eliminate this pressure and provide people with the care they require. Soon, the company will be rolling out a direct primary care membership program called CommunityCare at select health and wellness centers. CommunityCare provides access to crucial primary care services at one flat rate.
