Web Werks Hosts and Develops Web Portal for Maharashtra Pollution Control Board
The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board of India (MPCB) inaugurated its new web portal 'ec-MPCB ' designed by Web Werks for faster clearance of industrial projects.
- (1888PressRelease) March 21, 2017 - Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) recently launched a web portal designed by Web Werks to promote 'Ease of Doing Business'. With the introduction of the web portal, setup of new industries will be highly convenient as industrialists can directly apply online at http://www.ecmpcb.in/ for authorization to establish and operate as a new firm. In addition, it has also positioned an online portal to ensure online delivery of certificates.
The web portal that is built and developed for the convenience of industrialists by Web Werks is hosted at their state-of-the-art data center. The focus behind development of this particular online portal is to minimize human interface and speed up the process of industrialization in Maharashtra.
The new web portal accepts online applications and the applicant can select the appointments as well. After the applicants request for a certificate on the portal, they will receive a confirmation via an e-mail or an SMS. The data and time of the project's examination is generated within the system.
"We have collaborated with many government bodies previously as well and we take pride to deliver our expertise to build innovative concepts that can bring change. Working with MPCB is a pleasure and we intend to deliver more of our services to them," said Nikhil Rathi, CEO, Web Werks.
As the earlier norms have been redefined, the outer time limit has been cut from current 120 days to 60 days. Environmental clearances for new projects will be delivered online within a period of two months.
Therefore, faster clearance processes will attract more industries in the market. "We have launched this web portal to provide faster clearance and from now onwards, MPCB will unplug all its offline sanction processes," said Dr. Anbalagan, Member Secretary, MPCB. He also looks upon this as a path to erase corruption as the system will be able to track the process acutely and take action against those officials that fail to meet deadlines as generated by the system.
