(1888PressRelease) October 20, 2015 - Mumbai : India is the 2nd largest country in the world for Internet users, but it's also the country whose internet speeds are 2nd lowest in Asia (Akamai). We as a country are ranked 106th with respect to internet download speed and 101st with respect to affordability of mobile broadband (ISOC).

This is the core reason to initiate this initiative and to change and develop the internet scenario in India and make it affordable and accessible. InternetFirst provides the platform and help communities to study, understand and solve issues that stops an Indian to dream and achieve their internet needs.

The following are the major objectives of InternetFirst:
1. Create and mentor 10,000 new internet entrepreneurs
2. Make internet available to all Universities and colleges across the country
3. Support ISPs and Content Providers to make internet affordable
4. Promote government and private projects which focus on internet development
5. Promote Regional language adoption on internet
6. Support entrepreneurs and social causes in fund and idea raising
7. Promote Indian domain (.in, .bharat) infrastructure
8. Promote hosting web content in India to make it easily accessible
9. Educate community about internet trends and upcoming technologies
10. On board 100 million internet users by August 2016 and 400 Million new internet users by Aug 2018
