(1888PressRelease) December 28, 2013 - Las Vegas, NV -- Over the past 7 years, MySafeMEDIA.com has been providing Small Business owners in over 160 countries (and counting), the ability to make powerful, feature packed social websites, instantly and at extremely low prices. Today the Henderson, Nevada based company announced it would do its part to help more minority group members who own a small business, build a website for it.
MySafeMEDIA.com announces a special program for minority small business owners, primarily in the United states and United Kingdom. Billed as the "Web Technology for Minorities" program, it is an effort to provide historically under-privileged groups with the opportunity to make a powerful website that includes the capabilities they need for generate leads and even performing eCommerce online, all for little to nothing, in the way of cost.
"This is the type of thing that helps people get started online fast, without the need for spending on webmaster's, graphic designers, web hosting or programmers. In fact, you do not need any resources other than access to a computer and a few minutes to setup a new website. Best of all, if you do not need any of our additional premium features, the website is free". - Jess Jenkins, Administrator www.mysafemedia.com
When asked about the motivation behind the program, Ms. Jenkins pointed to the well documented facts and historical events that have resulted in a widening inequality gap on even the small business landscape. She expressed that ".., for larger corporations with millions to spend on branding and advertising it is not that hard to get customers, as they can use all the media channels at their disposal to do it. For a small business person, especially of a minority group, it is not so easy. They may not have access to huge amounts of resources or even enough technical training or education to accomplish something like building and publishing a dynamic website. We as a service provider understand this and want to make sure they get some help. We are very excited to be in a position to help people all over the world that would not have any other way to establish an online presence, mostly due to financial reasons." -Jess Jenkins
The "Web Technology for Minorities" program," is scheduled to commence during the first week of January, 2014 in time for the start of the new year. Announcements have also gone out through the companies Twitter and Facebook accounts, to let as many people know of the opportunity as is possible. The company did not mention plans to end the promotion on any specific date but rather that it will continue until they have helped at least 10,000 small business owners create an online presence. Also the program is eventually going to apply globally and is simply starting in the US and UK.
