Precept Partners announces strategic investment in RNS Packaging; company principals cite huge growth opportunity in fun, patented, sustainable, biodegradable, non-toxic (edible!) alternative to packing peanuts.
(1888PressRelease) January 29, 2014 - BUCHANAN, MICHIGAN; DOWAGIAC, MICHIGAN - Precept Partners, LLC, (Precept) Internet strategists and web developers announced a strategic relationship and investment in RNS Packaging, Inc., (RNS) creators of FunPak custom-shaped premium packing materials. Precept principals explained the objective of their investment and strategic relationship with RNS as focused on assisting RNS to scale FunPak distribution geographically and in helping them reach and serve new niche markets with and improved Internet presence and targeted online marketing.
RNS founder and CEO, Rich Daniels said, "We're excited to continue expanding our company with Precept's Internet expertise, technology and resources. To date FunPak Premium Packaging has protected more than 50,000 packages in our biodegradable packing material in just the first six months of production; with Precept's investment and support, we see huge growth potential for FunPak "dog bones" as the preferred, ecologically sound, cost effective alternative to Styrofoam packing peanuts and plastic air pouches. They're so safe, you can even eat them!"
Daniels designed, developed and patented the FunPak brand of loose-fill packing materials. As a veteran of Desert Storm, he hires veterans to manufacture, package and deliver FunPak products from multiple locations, including Boston, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati.
Precept principals are experienced Internet entrepreneurs. As founders of FurnitureFind.com in 1996, they guided the company through a period of rapid growth, successfully navigated the dot-com bubble and emerged as leaders in their industry group online. They launched Precept Partners shortly after selling FurnitureFind.com to a venture capital firm.
"We launched Precept in 2003 to share what we learned about growing a successful online business with other companies", said Stephen Antisdel of Precept. "Since then we've been strategic investors, consultants, web developers and marketers for dozens of clients across multiple industries. We're proud to have been instrumental in helping our partners and clients rack up an impressive array of awards for Internet growth and website design."
Precept's chief technology officer, Jeffrey Antisdel said, "We see an important growth opportunity for RNS and FunPak. Rich has developed an innovative packing alternative that's better for the planet and safe for pets and kids. We think it makes a lot of sense. We're look forward to working with him to continue building a great brand and company."
Terms of the investment remain confidential.
