  • Winston-Salem, NC (1888PressRelease) November 09, 2011 - Weather Master, a local heating, cooling and plumbing company, is conducting a food drive for local food banks in the Triangle area through December 16 with the goal of collecting 4,000 pounds of food. Weather Master is offering additional discounts off services in hopes of collecting non-perishable items from the homes they service. All donations will go to a variety of local food banks.

"It's a great way to give back to the community. Not only are we providing great service to our customers but we can use that same opportunity to serve our community as well," says Lee Hill, co-owner of Weather Master. "We need your help to reach our goal."

The most-requested items for donation include cereal, peanut butter, canned pasta, crackers, boxed meals such as Hamburger Helper, and toiletries. All nonperishable foods will be gladly accepted, however.

Donations are being collected during service calls, or anyone interested in donating may contact Weather Master via telephone at (919) 229-431 4 or their website, www.weathermasterhvac.com, for more information.
