This free camp targets rising 9th- 12th grade wide receiver athletes in the Metro Atlanta. Over 70 student football athletes will join Johnson along with other experts in the field, as they experience five hands-on and minds-on learning opportunities sessions (i.e. Catching Transformation, Scientific Thinking Among Athletes, Training the Body Right, Keeping the Body Healthy, and Healthy Hydration). WAT-AAH! will be present at the event keeping the young athletes hydrated both on and off the field, as well as providing a short presentation of its Healthy Hydration in the Nation Lecture Series TM which discusses the importance of drinking water and the dangers of the over-consumption of sugary beverages and sports drinks for young athletes.
"We are excited about being able to afford WAT-AAH! an opportunity to sponsor their product at the Calvin Johnson Jr. Foundation "Catching Dream" 5th annual Wide Receiver Football Camp." Says Dr. Arica Johnson, CJJRF Vice President.
Founded by Rose Cameron in 2008, WAT-AAH!'s mission is to reverse kids' dependency on sodas and sugary drinks and to make water their #1 choice by making it contemporary and relevant to kids. The brand has been successfully marketing this premise through advertising, events and sponsorship programs, including a major partnership with Beyonce Knowles for the nationwide Let's Move! Flash Workout Event and WAT-AAH!'s Move Your Body 2012. WAT-AAH! has also partnered with other key NFL sports stars, including Marques Colston of the New Orleans Saints, through Legacy Growth Partners and SWC Management. Http://www.wat-aah.com
