  • (1888PressRelease) December 03, 2011 - NEW YORK -- WAT-AAH!, the functional bottled water brand for kids and teens, proudly presents "Let's Move! In After School," and its new viral campaign, titled the "Move Your Body Challenge." Both initiatives follow WAT-AAH!'s highly successful and exclusive partnership and participation in the NABEF's historic "Let's Move! Flash Workout, which had kids from around the nation and the world exercising to Beyonce Knowles' 5-minute workout video as a proclamation of their support to the First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! anti-childhood obesity campaign.

WAT-AAH! will work closely with Kaleb "DJ Whoota" and Isaiah "iZiggy" Walls. These inspiring teenagers will lead "Let's Move! In After School" and will teach Beyonce's dance routine to an estimated 2,000 kids from over 30 elementary schools, YMCA's, and other after school programs. The tour will start in Charlotte and work itself through other cities in the South. The objective is to create excitement, buzz and increase participation with the ultimate goal of selecting a group of students to perform at the 2012 Democratic Convention in front of Mrs. Obama.

"With WAT-AAH! as a major part of our program, we are able to make a huge impact in these students' lives," says DJ Whoota. "WAT-AAH!'s contribution demonstrates their genuine concern for the health of all children and love for what's fun and exciting to kids -- like dance and music!"

"Move Your Body Challenge" is a new site (http://moveyourbodychallenge.tumblr.com/) created specifically to feature all the videos of kids and teens who have fully implemented and executed Beyonce's Flash Workout routine on their own or through WAT-AAH! sponsored events and/or initiatives. Footage from the "Let's Move! In After School" in will also be featured on WAT-AAH!'s site. The first 1,000 submissions will receive WAT-AAH!'s "Move Your Body" T-shirt, which will allow kids to show off their participation and commitment to Beyonce and Michelle Obama's call for physical activity and healthy living.

"The real message behind these programs is that kids and teens are taking charge of their health and having a significant role in the fight against childhood obesity," says Rose Cameron, CEO of WAT-AAH! "We applaud Kaleb and Isaiah's vision and desire to motivate their own peers. We congratulate the kids who commit to practicing and continuing Beyonce's work-out routine. As a company, we are proud to be the presenters and are extremely excited to get kids moving," she adds.
