Warrior Fitness Camp Holds Shoulder and Pain Seminar by Dr Jocelyn Wallace
Warrior Fitness Camp is holding a shoulder and pain seminar led by Dr. Jocelyn Wallace DPT, FRCms, CF-L1. WFC finds most of the time people are advised to stop working out when they have issues in their shoulders. WFC believes avoiding working on a specific area of the body is not the right path instead there should be rehabilitation and mobility exercise plan in to use that area of the body.
- Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) February 25, 2020 - On March 21st at 10:15am Warrior Fitness Camp located at 4747 SW 51st St Davie Florida 33314 is holding a Should and Pain Seminar led by Dr. Jocelyn Wallace DPT, FRCms, CF-L1.
Shoulder pain can start for many different reasons but no matter where it comes from, it nearly always affects a person’s performance. This workshop will teach people how to assess their own shoulder health and teach them key concepts to help them understand how to tackle shoulder pain and get back to performing at their best. Dr. Jocelyn is a physical therapist who specializes in getting fitness athletes out of pain and moving better so they can stay in the gym and work toward their goals.
Coach Joey Owner of Warrior Fitness Camp said that, WFC’s member base is made up of people around ages 30-56 years old. We see a lot of people coming into the facility with pre-existing injuries. Teaming up with Dr. Jocelyn Wallace was a no brainer because the members can really benefit from her expertise. Every crossfit gym, boot camp gym, strength and conditioning gym should have a key physical therapist part of their team that they can offer their client services.
The shoulder and pain event flow will have an introduction, some lecture about simple shoulder anatomy, basic perquisites for good overhead motion, explain common diagnoses, difference between stability, mobility and flexibility. Then followed by a short health shoulder workout, rehabilitation workout and stretch at the end. This is a free event for members and non-members.
Warrior Fitness Camp has a Facebook event page where you can reserve your spot. They are only allowing 50 people at this event.
