Walters Group Fundraiser Garners Over $4,000 For Resident Fighting Cancer
Benefit Held at Laurel Oaks Apartments Supports 14-Year-Old Local Boy.
- Monmouth-Ocean, NJ (1888PressRelease) August 25, 2017 - A Walters Group fundraiser held at the Laurel Oaks Apartments raised $4,000 for 14-year-old resident Nikolas Falco, diagnosed with cancer in April.
The three-hour benefit filled the community room at Laurel Oaks Apartments on Aug. 11,and drew in more than 100 participants. Walters Group organizers included Carrie Adragna, community manager; Jennifer Pampalone, services coordinator; Veronica Velez, assistant manager; and Denise Martin, leasing consultant. Organizers also found support from the company, residents and local community. Entertainment at the fundraiser included a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, Shawn Clancy, a magician from Simply Silly Magic, and NASCAR driver Tyler Truex.
