Local small business owner honored at award ceremony.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) May 16, 2012 - Em Henry-Johnson, Owner and Creative Director of Em Henry Events, was recently honored for her success as a female entrepreneur by Star LITE Foundation, Inc. and the producers of DC's Got Talent Show at the 2012 Successful Journey of Black Entrepreneurs event.
Held at the Harmony Hall Regional Center in Fort Washington, Maryland, the sold-out, black-tie event recognized successful Black Entrepreneurs in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
As the guiding force behind Em Henry Events, a thriving event planning company based in Waldorf, MD, Em has professionally planned events for more than 12 years. Her commitment to excellence and outstanding reputation in the community has afforded her the opportunity to work with the region's most successful & influential people including business leaders, politicians and professional athletes.
In her acceptance speech, Henry-Johnson thanked the many family members, friends and colleagues that have played a role in her success, especially her father Walter Henry and husband Vyron Johnson,
