Wakefly, an Ektron Gold Level partner, is Honored for its Innovative Use of Ektron CMS400.NET in Developing Web Site for Cambridge Healthtech Institute
Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) November 12, 2008 - Wakefly, an innovative Web development and online marketing firm, was recently named as a 2008 Ektron CMS All Star Award winner. Ektron Inc., a technology and market leader in Web content management software, announced the award winners at Synergy, their annual customer conference in Boston, Massachusetts.
“The 2008 Ektron All Star winning Web sites and interactive agencies have developed solutions that meet tough business challenges through innovative and outstanding Web site development,” stated Bill Rogers, chief executive officer of Ektron. “The winning sites demonstrate extraordinary creativity in extending the CMS400.NET platform and we are thrilled to recognize and congratulate the individuals behind these projects.”
Wakefly was honored with the award for its Web development work combined with Ektron CMS implementation on Cambridge Healthtech Institute's Web site, http://www.chicorporate.com/. Among other items, the project tasked Wakefly's Web development team with migrating data to the Ektron CMS from a proprietary system, redesigning the information architecture to optimize the amount of time visitors spent on the site, and setting up taxonomy for article organization.
“As a result of our team's hard work on the project, Cambridge Healthtech Institute has witnessed improved user search and navigation capabilities, more visitor time spent on the site, and the percentage of visitors from natural search engine results has nearly doubled,” said Jon Baer, president of Wakefly. “Our close partnership with Ektron allows Wakefly to provide creative, easily manageable solutions to difficult Web problems. We are honored to receive our second All Star award in recognition of these solutions.”
