This fully-enclosed, vacuum system featured the advanced, pneumatic Volkmann Multijector Vacuum Conveyor offering dust-free transfer with a gentle, segregation-free, vacuum-plug-flow system for capacities from 10kg/h to 8000kg/h with transporting distances up to 100m and up to 50m high.
By converting their transfer process to Volkmann's vacuum system, the company was able to reduce the costly product loss resulting from the manual dumping of precious metal ash into the barrels and also eliminated the health and safety risks arising from precious metal dust clouds that were being created by manual transfer. The system was compact and offered silent operation along with easy installation and cleaning. The Volkmann vacuum was also ATEX certified, offering explosion-proof operation.
