Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) August 31, 2011 - In response to demand for an ultra low profile unit for vacuum conveying small volumes, Volkmann Inc. has added the VS200-F1 model to its line of high quality, high performance VS vacuum conveyors. It provides a great solution for conveying capacities up to 500 lbs. /hr. in just 16" of overall height.

The VS200-F1 model has all the features of the other models in the series, including:
• the quick release QX style filter
• full modular construction
• 8" diameter full-bore body
• the unique full-bore discharge valve that is free from operating parts within the product stream

Ideal for granular products, the unit features the new MX 360 vacuum pump capable of vacuum levels as low as 27" hg vacuum allowing for lean, dense or plug flow conditions. The standard 316L stainless steel construction offers corrosion free design and also includes the same seal arrangement as the rest of the VS range.

All Volkmann VS vacuum conveyors meet ATEX certification for use in explosion proof areas.
