Voice Competition Announcement - 2010 KCVI Singer of the Year Award in Opera
The Kansas City Vocal Institute is opening an online competition for the 2010 Singer of the Year Award in Opera.
- Kansas City, MO-KS (1888PressRelease) October 22, 2010 - The winner will receive $500 and will be considered for future professional opportunities through the Kansas City Vocal Institute. The competition will take place through online submissions only.
Applicants are required to submit a recording of an opera aria, headshot, resume, and a $15 entry fee in addition to completing the online application. There is no age limit nor contest location because the entire contest will be held by recording only. Semifinalists will be asked to submit 3 more recordings to determine the finalists.
