Vocal Forte a Local High School Acapella Group Provides Music at the Kimmel Center

South Jersey Christian High School Grabs Attention with Their Amazing Musical Talent. End Quote

Camden, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 17, 2018 - The Baptist Regional high school acapella group, Vocal Forte, was honored to play a small part in the ICCA Semi-finals at the Kimmel Center on March 31, 2018. After the top 10 colleges from the upper east coast competed to become the national finalist, Vocal Forte provided music along with Stay Tuned from Cherry Hill East during the judges’ deliberations. OwlCappella from Temple University won first place, No Ceiling from College of William & Mary won second place, and Vocal Point from the University of Delaware won third place. Music at Baptist Regional School

Music plays an integral part in Baptist Regional School in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. Elementary students experience weekly music classes that include singing, reading music, recorder, and chimes. Middle school students participate in the choir with the option to join the band as an elective. High school students can enter choir and orchestra as electives and may also audition for the Vocal Forte acapella group. The advanced vocal group competes and performs throughout the region and has been featured on radio and television.
