Integrated with the Capita SIMS management information system (MIS), which is currently used by over 21,000 educational establishments, Vivo will provide UK schools with a contemporary platform to engage and motivate students and recognise their academic and extra-curricular achievements, positive behaviour and citizenship. By integrating Vivo into SIMS, teachers can reward students within seconds. They simply select who they wish to reward, from class lists automatically compiled from the MIS, choose their award category and write an optional comment. Students log in to their account to view their rewards balance and redeem their points in the on-line shop, donate them to charity, or save them for future redemption.
The Vivo system also automatically pulls attendance and punctuality data directly from SIMS, so schools can seamlessly encourage and reward good performance.
Additionally, the integration of Vivo with SIMS presents many benefits to school administration and leadership teams. Administrators are able to analyse student, teacher and class reward data which provides an unforeseen level of transparency, giving students and school leaders confidence that achievements are being recognised fairly and consistently across the entire school.
