Vishay Siliconix SUM/SUP 70040E MOSFETs Available Globally through New Yorker Electronics
Vishay Super 12 Featured Product Delivers the Lowest Values of On-Resistance in the Industry for 100V MOSFETs with 4.5V Ratings.
- (1888PressRelease) June 24, 2016 - NORTHVALE, NEW JERSEY - New Yorker Electronics is now carrying the new Vishay Siliconix SUM 70040E and SUP 70040E ThunderFET® Power MOSFETs, a Vishay 2016 Super 12 Featured Product. The Vishay Power MOSFETs offer the lowest values of on-resistance in the industry for 100V MOSFETs with 4.5V ratings. Their maximum on-resistance of 4mΩ is 60% lower per mm2 than previous-generation devices, allowing them to significantly reduce power losses and improve efficiency in a wide range of applications. These applications range from solar micro inverters to charging stations for e-vehicles to power tools.
The lower on-resistance translates into lower conduction losses and reduced power consumption for energy-saving green solutions. The Vishay Power MOSFETs are optimized for primary side switching and secondary side synchronous rectification in isolated DC/DC power supply designs for telecom brick and bus converter applications. The MOSFETs' 4.5V rating for on-resistance allows a wide range of PWM and gate driver ICs to be considered.
The Vishay SUM and SUP ThunderFET TrenchFET MOSFETs new N-channel polarity options expand on the ThunderFET and TrenchFET IV series low and mid-range Vds voltage MOSFETs. These MOSFETs are housed in TO-220 and TO-263 packages with 60V, 80V and 100V Vds voltages.
