Stidham. Mr. Stidham's other novels include "The Second Attempt" and "Personal Justice," among others.
Meet Jerry Burson, who has spent his entire career working on a secret Federal project to transform the molecular structure of a solid mass into a gaseous form without much success. So when he hears a Cherokee legend about a mysterious blue vapor that transforms matter and sends it to another dimension, he heads for Oklahoma to investigate. But Jerry soon discovers that he isn't the only one looking for the vapor and finds himself trapped between worlds with dangerous mercenaries.
