Virtual Edge Institute today launched a series of free Livecasts that will aid event practitioners in learning to produce effective digital engagements.
- (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2011 - Pleasanton, CA - On the heels of its announcement that it will begin certifying Digital Event Specialists, the Virtual Edge Institute today launched a series of free Livecasts that will aid event practitioners in learning to produce effective digital engagements.
"With the speed at which virtual and hybrid events are exploding in the event industry, it's critical that event planners receive sound instruction on integrated approaches to digital engagement related to specific business objectives," says Michael Doyle, Executive Director of the Virtual Edge Institute. "With that in mind, we are launching several educational initiatives, including this Livecast series."
The first Livecast will be held May 13, 2011 on Capturing and Monetizing Your Content. "Whether you're part of an association or corporation, you've got lots of content - and there are lots of ways to monetize it," says Livecast moderator and host, Donna Sanford. "We want to help event organizers learn to use the latest digital technologies to capture and reuse that content."
