- (1888PressRelease) November 27, 2014 - Alton, Virginia - Tickets for the 2015 racing season at VIRginia International Raceway will go on sale Monday, Dec. 1. With every ticket purchase that day, Cyber Monday, patrons will receive a voucher for a free VIR track-map shirt by using the code VIRTSHIRT at checkout.
The upcoming 2015 racing season promises to be VIR's best yet, with 10 exceptional events beginning in April. Pro motorcycle racing will return to VIR with the MotoAmerica Road Racing Series in May, and is expected to again be one of VIR's largest spectator events. Additionally, two major events return in August - TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the Biscuitville 125 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.
