VIRAGE Group takes Project Monitor to Olympia on tide of success
VIRAGE Group, a specialist in Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) software, posted a rise in turnover of 40% in 2012. Project Monitor, the company's solution, is now used by 80 companies internationally.

Project Monitor, the company's solution, is now used by 80 companies internationally. This number is set to increase thanks to a recently appointed UK-based Export Manager, as well as the company's participation in the Project Challenge Exhibition Spring Show, from 13 to 14 March 2013 in London (UK).
Frédéric Monomakhoff, Director of VIRAGE Group, says, "For 2013, I forecast another year of strong growth for VIRAGE Group. Our target is an increase in turnover of 40%. Project Monitor is already used in eight countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa [EMEA], and our rise in turnover will include international development. English-speaking countries, particularly the UK, are now covered by Tony Bocock, International Sales Manager, who has recently joined VIRAGE Group to concentrate on international development."
VIRAGE Group's 2012 results showed an increase in sales of 40%, all of it stemming from sales of Project Monitor. In the wake of strong results in 2011, turnover has doubled in two years and now stands at over €1 million.
VIRAGE Group will showcase its expertise, products and services at the Project Challenge Exhibition Spring Show at the Olympia exhibition centre, in central London, in March of this year. The company will be on Stand 104 at the project-management trade fair, from 13 to 14 March.
VIRAGE Group has recently released Version 5.0 of Project Monitor. The solution is increasing in popularity, offering a powerful range of functionalities behind a highly user-friendly interface. In 2012, 12 major customers opted for Project Monitor, which is now used by a total of 80 companies internationally in order to manage their projects and portfolios.
Project Monitor 5.0 offers a complete set of modules allowing for the management of schedules, resources, budgets, results and risks. These modules are all housed in a user-friendly collaborative space, which enables communication and task assignment within groups of project team members and managers. An unlimited range of Dashboards provides both operational and Project Management Office (PMO) managers access to customised views over project portfolios. This access is available during the demand-management and delivery phases.
All versions of Project Monitor stem from two sources of development: ideas emanating from VIRAGE Group's in-house project experts and client requests. The software suite now offers a powerful set of functionalities that are not always offered by larger software publishers.
Project Monitor allows every user to access PPM, and the software suite helps companies launch business-changing plans, allowing the successful development of all projects, whatever the companies' core activities.
IT departments represent a significant client segment for VIRAGE Group. They often make full use of the Revenue module, which enables the monitoring of costs and sales, allowing departments to monitor margins on each project.
Project Monitor is also widely used throughout the public sector in France, where local government - in départements, the French equivalent of counties in England, and in regions - uses the solution to manage infrastructure and organisational projects. Such clients include the regions of Aquitaine and Loire Valley, as well as the Côte-d'Or, Côtes-d'Armor, and Ille-et-Vilaine départements, and Strasbourg Town Council.
Customers regularly refer to the advantages of Project Monitor, such as the fact that the software has an array of functionalities, yet a highly user-friendly user interface, and that it is an accessible solution for a wide range of users, including non-project specialists. Additionally, Project Monitor is available with a licence or in Software as a Service (SaaS) mode, which provides rapid implementation times and usage flexibility.
