Congratulations to Vigilant Technologies, our Partner of the Month! Vigilant successfully positioned Fujitsu M10-4 SPARC servers as the best choice for a global manufacturing company. An impressive win with two Fujitsu M10-4 servers has provided the customer with a modern, high performance, and highly efficient platform.

Background: The customer had a legacy manufacturing app running on older HP-UX servers which was experiencing performance problems. Vigilant helped the customer move their app to the Fujitsu M10-4 platform in order to standardize on the Oracle Solaris operating system and achieve performance gains - without incurring additional licensing costs. The customer appreciates that the Fujitsu M10-4 allows them to buy and activate only the cores they need now and pay as they grow, saving on software licensing costs and providing a capacity-on-demand growth option for future needs. For this customer, this is the first of what will become many Fujitsu M10 implementations across their global manufacturing sites.
