Vichara adds Tim Meyer as Managing Director of Mobile Products and Services
Tim Meyer has been added as Managing Director in Vichara Technologies and will head mobile products and business line services.
- (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2014 - New York - Vichara Technologies, Inc., a leading capital markets technology firm specializing in valuation and risk management solutions, today announced the addition of Tim Meyer as managing director to head the mobile products and services business line.
In his new role, Tim will lead the vision and evolution of Vichara's mobile strategy across all its products and services while also heading the development and implementation efforts.
Tim has been a pioneer in mobile software and services and brings over 25 years of product design and delivery experience. His career spans from large technology companies such as Analog Devices and Ericsson to a series of startups. He also co-founded two mobile companies: room33, the first WAP portal and Crisp Wireless, one of the first J2ME developers.
Prior to joining Vichara, Tim served as CEO of Crisp Wireless, CTO of Direct Nu Energy and CTO of Ericsson Wireless Internet Solutions. As CEO of Crisp Wireless, he pioneered mobile multimedia applications for Nokia, Motorola and AT&T while at Ericsson he developed the first commercially available wireless email system. His work led Ericsson to partner with Research in Motion and together give birth to the BlackBerry.
Tim holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
