(1888PressRelease) October 30, 2019 - WASHINGTON - With a shared commitment to supporting our nation’s veterans, nearly 40 organizations have signed on as sponsors of this year’s American Veterans Ball (AVB) on November 8, 2019.
The ball, which will be held at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD, over Veterans Day weekend, is the only all Armed Forces service ball in the country. Since many veterans feel the absence of these types of annual active duty events after transitioning out of service, the ball is a way to reignite, reconnect with and maintain their camaraderie and patriotism with their fellow veterans.
AVB features a dynamic patriotic speaking program, fine dining, fellowhip, music and dancing. Proceeds from the event have a Focus on Youth emphasis to benefit JROTC programs, children of fallen service members, summer youth camps, educational scholarships and other youth leadership development opportunities. In addition to the Eagle Sponsor, Corporate Stripes, Small Business Stars, Strategic Alliance and Community Partners have all demonstrated an overwhelming response with their support for the event’s call to action and focused causes.
“This event would not be possible without the deep support from so many generous sponsors,” said American Veterans Ball Founder Ozzy Ramos. “All of those who have contributed have demonstrated their shared vision and support for past, present and future veterans. We look forward to an amazing night celebrating those who have chosen to serve and those preparing themselves to take on the baton for the challenges we face tomorrow.”
Chief Operations Officer Samuel Cachola added, “You know you’re headed in the right direction when the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Veterans Administration Jason Beardsley invites your team to Washington D.C. to sit down with him to find out how we are positively impacting veterans, their families and the communities. It's a milestone year for the AVB team when you know your means and methods are complimentary to the President’s veteran suicide prevention roadmap. Please come to the event to see firsthand how passion, purpose and renewed commitment can come into alignment post-service and actually save lives!”

About American Veterans Ball
The goal of the American Veterans Ball (AVB) is to connect our past and present military professionals to the future leaders of America, while keeping them true to the Red, White & Blue. The AVB was created to provide “ALL” veterans of the Armed Forces with the opportunity to participate in an annual service ball similar to our active service components. The AVB will also serve out its MISSION by creating a pathway that allows us to reignite, reconnect with, and maintain our camaraderie with fellow patriotic veterans through this unique event for years to come.
