Veteran-Owned Pavers Company Featured on National TV for Charity Project

Exotic Pavers, a veteran- and family-owned Florida company, will be featured on Military Makeover airing on WTCN-MyNetwork on April 12 and 13.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) April 09, 2025 - Exotic Pavers of Palm Beach County, FL, a family- and veteran-owned paver installation company that creates impressive and functional outdoor living spaces using superior hardscape materials, takes the spotlight in the national television series Military Makeover, hosted by longtime TV host and personality Montel Williams. In this episode, Marc McKinnon, co-founder of Exotic Pavers, shares his experience of working on a charitable project completed in 2024, curating a custom outdoor makeover to a fellow veteran’s property. For Marc, this project was especially meaningful because it provided a life-changing home improvement for a Marine Corps veteran who was injured in battle.
Marc McKinnon, born in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and stepson of co-founder Marsha McKinnon, also served in the Marine Corps. After serving for four years, he then transitioned to operating the family business and now has over 25 years of experience in the paving industry. “When we learned of this opportunity to give back to the community in a way that helped provide services to a veteran, the decision was a no-brainer,” says Marc. “We were thrilled to be a part of the Kruspe Project and provide our services to someone who sacrificed their life for our country. We will always support our vets.”
Marc’s interview in this episode of Military Makeover goes into more detail about this exceptional project. “We had US Paverscape donate the brick pavers, Exotic Pavers donated the base materials and labor, and we also had CM Screen raise two screen doors,” says Marc when describing the contributions to the Kruspe Project. “It was a team effort to support a veteran and followed our marine motto to ‘Leave No Man Behind.’”
In this episode of Military Makeover, the Kruspe Project is heartfelt and emotional, highlighting the companies that joined forces for the transformation of this veteran’s home. Exotic Pavers made a substantial contribution with both materials and labor to help bring the outdoor space to life. Using their unique hardscaping services and family-run core values, Exotic Pavers’ mission was accomplished as they focused on giving back to their community by supporting a fellow veteran.
Started in 2013, Exotic Pavers has made a tremendous impact on the South Florida landscaping industry, providing high-quality and custom-designed outdoor installations ranging from patios to pool decks to driveways, retaining walls, fire pits, and more. In 2024, they installed over 1 million square feet of pavers and are expected to meet and exceed that amount in 2025.
In 2024, Military Makeover was the winner of Outstanding Reality Show by the CBS Family Film and TV Awards, providing Exotic Pavers with a substantial opportunity to share their mission with a large audience of viewers. The series currently airs on Lifetime and American Forces Network (AFN), and its first episode premiered in 2016. Longtime TV host Montel Williams, himself a veteran and philanthropist, hosts the show.
Military Makeover featuring Exotic Pavers will air on WTCN-MyNetwork on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. ET and Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. ET.
