  • San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) November 18, 2013 - The show is based on true stories of Deportation each week there will be a different story narrated by the original main characters andscenes of key elements of the story produced in a cinematic style.

Mr. del Castillo does the intro to each episode, makes comments about the story throughout the show making a reflection at the end.

In the pilot episode the main character is Jesus who came to the us with the dream of buying his mom a house, having been abused and abandoned by his father he grew closer to mom so he'd do anything to make her happy.

After his best friend Ricardo sees him staying late for work he tells Jesus that not even working 24 hours a day he's ever going to be able to get his mom a new house, and invites Jesus to come with him to the US and he also says that working there he could buy whatever he wanted.

Against his mom's will Jesus decides to go to the US. An uncle kept offering to sponsor him paying all travel expenses, the coyote, getting him a job and letting him stay at his house until he could be on his own.

After sorting the desert and bandits on the border Jesus finally gets to Los Angeles where his uncle pays the coyote and both live a very emotional family reunion.

Jesus starts working and climbing positions at the job, then he starts going to school where he meets a girl, gets married and has 2 kids making a family of his own, always sending money to his mom, but still his original dream of helping his family get a new house is not realized so he is never at ease with himself longing for his family back home.

One afternoon 1 block away from his house he gets pulled over by the police for making a sudden stop after trying to avoid running over a kid on a skateboard who jumped in front of him, after being questioned Jesus can't come up with any residence documents and is held for further investigation, he is finally released and just before he gets out they inform him that ICE has requested him for deportation.

Jesus makes a painful trip passing through the streets and highways he usually took to go to and back from work, this time he's on his way out of the country.

During the program, Jesus relates his story, making on frame appearances, on his final comment he says that if it wasn't for his kids and wife he wouldn't want to come back that he is risking getting caught again and  being sent to prison but he's willing to do it again all for his new family.

Mr del Castillo makes a final reflection "The next time you hear the word undocumented or Deportado, you must remember that this is a human being, and just like you, this person is in a quest for... a better life."

Jesus is still away from his family and faces either going back to the US becoming a fugitive or staying in his own country where he'll always be tagged as a Deportado.
