(1888PressRelease) September 14, 2011 - Davenport, Iowa - Four Seasons at 2205 E Kimberly Road in Davenport will host a Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation event on Thursday, September 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The store invites members of the community to visit Four Seasons for a presentation by Heidi Floyd, Vera Bradley Foundation Ambassador and join in the fight against breast cancer.
Heidi is a longtime employee of Vera Bradley and was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2005. A mother of three and pregnant with her fourth, Heidi required a unique course of therapy. With support from her coworkers, and care provided by the researchers that The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer continues to fund today, Heidi's is a story of hope.
Katie Andrios, owner of Four Seasons states "We have over 80 employees with our company and Four Seasons has had several employees that have been diagnosed with breast cancer or know someone who has. We felt this was a great opportunity to get involved in the fight!" In addition to Heidi's presentation at 5:00 p.m., 10% of Vera sales that day will benefit the Foundation. Four Seasons is also offering a special discount on Vera for the day and will provide appetizers and refreshments. You can register to win hundreds in door prizes.
