Our project was selected for Launch Pad at Web 2.0 Summit last November and it received a warm welcome by the community. In the meantime, Venyo website goes live and we are currently working with beta partners who are interested to integrate our content evaluation system.

Thanks to an account settings option, each user of a partner website will be able to link his profile with his Venyo one. Once linked, his personal trust index will be displayed on his contributions (profiles, posts, pictures, videos, etc.) to prove how reliable he is to the potential reader. Thanks to the Venyo "rate me" link, the reader can rate the contributor by giving a quantitative evaluation on a classic rating scale and a qualitative one through tagging.
This unique combination between quantitative and qualitative evaluation will be analyzed by our algorithm to get the personal trust index expressed in percentage - the Vindex™ - but also the evaluation related to the best tags, reflecting specific contributor skills. Thanks to this human evaluation, Venyo will be able to offer a people search engine to find reliable informations about all the subjects that interest everyone.
If you enter a keyword like "Web Design" for example, you will get a list of trustworthy contributors who received positive evaluations linked with the tag "Web Design". Of course, when you consult the profile page of a particular user, you can find where he wrote about "Web Design" and partner websites will get traffic from our people search engine.
