(1888PressRelease) August 17, 2013 - Veho are pleased to announce that they are expanding their already successful outdoor and action sports market to now include the marine sector. Veho cemented their commitment to this sector this week as the Veho-Inspire Elan 410 set off from Cowes taking on over 300 other yachts in the world famous Fastnet race.
With a record 335 entries from 20 nations The Rolex Fastnet is the world's largest offshore yacht race and covers 611 miles from Cowes to Plymouth via the Fastnet rock off south-west Ireland.
Veho-Inspire skippered by Russell Lake and crewed by the 10 man Urban Truant crew has been kitted out with a number of high definition MUVI™ HD waterproof action cameras with a multitude of different mounting points which will capture the whole race and enable the crew to video blog their experience.
All portable devices on board, including the MUVI™ HD cameras will be powered by Veho PEBBLE™ portable power units with the capacity to last the 3 - 4 day gruelling race.
We wish the Veho-Inspire team all the best for a great race, a safe return and we certainly look forward to seeing all the footage that is captured on this epic journey.
