Vegas Based Comedian Don Barnhart Brings Laughter To Solutions Recovery 10th Anniversary Celebration
Sept 24th marks the ten-year anniversary for Solutions Recovery Center in Las Vegas and they are celebrating with comedian Don Barnhart and other special guests.
- (1888PressRelease) September 20, 2015 - Vegas based comedian Don Barnhart will perform at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Solutions Recovery on Sept 24th, 2015 and everyone is invited to this free event as there will be a celebration of music, food and other surprises.
Barnhart specializes in recovery shows and just finished headlining the 31st Annual Tri State Round Up in Laughlin, NV and will be the main entertainment for the Washington State Round Up next year.
He just wrapped up a packed week headlining his stand up at Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at the MGM and then sold out his own show at Treasure Island with his comedy hypnosis act.
Last year, Barnhart produced a series of Healing Through Humor Comedy Shows for Solutions Recovery Center in Las Vegas and he continues to headline the Vegas strip, cruise ships, colleges, high schools, fairs and other recovery shows across the country.
Having grown up in the AL-Anon program, Barnhart was more than familiar with the concepts of recovery and utilizes them in his self-improvement audio CDs. Participants as well as the audience learn the basic foundations of hypnosis during Barnhart's show that they can utilize and apply in their own journey of success supplementing and reinforcing their recovery.
Barnhart's film career has really been gaining steam as he is in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader both written by and starring Barnhart about a returning Veteran who bottoms out and on his way back, he becomes the Robin Hood of the disenfranchised.
Don also plays a rather disgruntled, road weary and carefree comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy and stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny with Brad Garret, Louie Anderson and Wendy Liebman.
The Las Vegas Review Journal named Don Barnhart's comedy show one of their "Best Bets" and he was one of the featured headliners at the 2014 Laughlin Comedy Festival alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Dana Carvey and Maryellen Hooper.
Since his first USO tour back in 1992, Barnhart continues to perform and produce comedy shows for the troops around the world bringing both celebrities and the next generation of comedy superstars to the men and women serving in the armed forces and will be heading overseas next month for another series of tours for the troops.
Don is also the author of the new book on stand up, Finding Your Funny as well as Creating The Life You Desire and he is a contributing author on I Killed: True Stories From The Road by America's Funniest Comedians. He is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles and is a certified hypnotist performing both a stand up and comedy hypnosis show.
In his off time, Don is one of the most sought after comedy coaches in the industry and is the founder of the Las Vegas Comedy Institute teaching stand up, improv and comedy writing at his Vegas based studio.
He is also a certified hypnotist and performs a separate comedy hypnosis show which has been a hit in the recovery programs in a show that is as entertaining as it is empowering.
Besides being a regular headliner on the Las Vegas strip, Don Barnhart is a favorite performer for many of the top corporate events around the world including The World President's Organization, AFLAC, AA/NA, DARE and many more. He has been seen on almost every major comedy show and was hand picked for The Ice House's 50th Anniversary All Star TV Special.
