On July 22, 2012, Vanessa will stage her first-ever runway show for Rose by Vanessa Jean at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013 in Miami.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2012 - Accomplished model, actress designer and visionary, Vanessa Simmons has announced the premiere of the upcoming swimwear collection for her new intimate apparel and swimwear line, Rose by Vanessa Jean, which will take place during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013. Marking the designer's first appearance at the prestigious fashion event, the much-anticipated collection will be presented at the gorgeous Penthouse of the Raleigh Hotel in Miami at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday July 22, 2012.
Entitled "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" the stunning swimwear collection will feature bold and colorful designs and rich fabrics, adorned in fine crystal detailing and exquisite lace embellishments, with an appeal to the femininity and natural curves of women of all shapes and sizes.
Vanessa announced the creation of Rose by Vanessa Jean at the top of the year and followed with the launch of a nationally publicized model search in partnership with Facebook. She wrapped the model search earlier this month, selecting three beautiful models to help represent Rose by Vanessa Jean. And now, the designer is taking the swimwear collection of her highly celebrated line to Fashion Week, to debut amidst some of the most prominent designers of the industry. The VIP invite only fashion show will be attended by influential media, celebrities, tastemakers, buyers and top tier fashion heavyweights from all over the world.
