Keeping the spirit of Van Mahotsav alive across the country, Indus Valley Public School, Noida celebrated ‘Van Mahotsav’ (Forest Day) on 6th July, 2018 with great passion and enthusiasm.
An “Awareness Rally” was organized by the students of class 11, highlighting the need for planting and tending of trees as one of the best ways to prevent Global Warming and thereby saving “Our Mother Earth” from depletion. The students and teachers actively participated in the tree plantation drive in the nearby parks and residential areas.
The IVPians of class I and II also made their contribution for the day, which included poster making and creative writing activity on the topic, ‘Trees Are Our Best Friend’. Students enthusiastically participated in this activity and also displayed their creative talent for the same.
Our little ones were not left behind. They were also included in the drive as their teachers explained them the importance of the day and carried out the plantation drive in the school campus along with the school Director, Ms. Niharika Singh and Principal, Ms. Shikha Sharma.
