  • (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2016 - Love was definitely "In The Air" as concert-goers strolled, laughed, conversed, enjoyed a light dinner fair and jazz combo which provided a lovely musical backdrop for the PRE-Valentine concert! This Valentine's Day, Sunday evening, downtown Atlanta was a brisk chill outside but the warm romantic atmosphere within was so very delightful!~

At the close of the Pre-Valentine's Day concert in the Lobby of the beautiful Rialto Center For The Arts, Georgia State University, doors were opened to the Main hall/theater for general admission. There was nary a vacant seat in the house!! The audience sat with eager anticipation, electricity filled the air when Atlanta Disc Jockey, "Youngblood" host of "Spotlight Gold" Saturdays from 7:00am - Noon on KISS 104.1 FM Atlanta ambled onto the stage to the delight of concert-goers introducing The Empress of Song, Jean Carn!! Ms. Carn, consummate vocalist she is, grabbed the audience, and made each one a passenger on the fantastic roller coaster of her more than (5) octave vocal range before handing the reigns to Michael Henderson who took up where Ms. Carn left off!! Opening with the fiery funk instrumental, "Geek You Up" Henderson took to the stage like a "Ball of Fire" whipping the audience this time into a frenzy before introducing "The Dramatics!"

The excitement continued when The Dramatics, behind the five microphones danced and sang through some of the loveliest ballads in R&B music! "Be My Girl" "Hey You..Get Off My Mountain" "(I Wanna Go Outside)..In The Rain" and more!! At the close of The Dramatics set, DJ Youngblood returns to the stage re-introducing Michael Henderson, who thrilled the audience once AGAIN with a change of wardrobe, another injection of energetic balladry before being joined again by world renowned songstress, Jean Carn for their reworked, upgraded and special new version of the now "Steppers Anthem" song "Valentine Love!" Henderson and Carn courted their audience with LONG STEMMED PINK, WHITE & RED ROSES before delivering an incredibly beautiful "NEW" version of their timeless hit, "Valentine Love!" The audience was captivated from beginning to end!

I for one hope this concert becomes a Valentine's Day tradition! In the spirit of love!!!
