Valedictory Of National Techno Cultural Festival "Tech -Acme 2016 "At Oist, Bhopal
The third and the last day of TECH ACME'2016 concluded with the enthusiastic participation from the students who were competing for their final rounds these participants were from Madhya Pradesh and from other states as well.
- (1888PressRelease) December 14, 2016 - The first two days were full of enthusiasm and energy with many Technical and Cultural events. The entire campus flooded up with students for all the competitions and shows. Work shop on Brain Controlled Robots and the Aero modeling show were the center of attraction. Star Attraction of day one was Flash Mob and Fashion Show and second day had DJ night with DJ Rahul.
The chief guest for the Valedictory function were Hon,ble Mayor, BMC, Bhopal, Shri Alok Sharma Ji, respected Commissioner, BMC, Ms Chavi Bharadwaj, Deputy Commissioner, BMC, Shri M P Singh and Principal Scientist, Energy Center, Dr Anil Kumar Dubey .
Chief Patron of Oriental Group and Chancellor Oriental University Dr. K L Thakral welcomed the chief guests along with Chairman Oriental Group, Shri Praveen Thakral, the Director OIST, Dr. V K Sahu.
Winners were given cash prizes along with certificates and memento.
The star attraction of the day was Aero modeling show conducted by the students and professionals which gathered lots of applaud. These models are the ones which are used as dummies to make real air crafts. The show started with the flower showering and then displayed many stunts done by the planes.
The event for the day was Group Dance competition which has many participants who had neck to neck competition. In the prize distribution ceremony, Prizes were given to the winners and the participants received certificates amidst of the cultural program. Some events like Circuit Design, Robotics, Model Presentation Assemble De Assemble also had cash prizes which was enjoyed by the students.
Chairman OGI, Shri Praveen Thakral sir congratulated the students, the entire team of Tech -Acme 2016 and the staff of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology on the successful conduction of the event.
The Report of the event was presented by Prof. Sanjay Sharma, Head, Computer Science Department and Co Convener, Tech Acme 2016.
The Valedictory ceremony ended up with a vote of thanks by the student coordinator.
