  • (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2012 - 1 October marks the 10th anniversary of the cooperative partnership between UTair Airlines and Moscow Domodedovo International Airport. This successful partnership has enhanced the route networks of both partners and facilitated leveraging the transfer potential of one of Moscow's busiest air terminals.

    UTair Airline inaugurated flight operations from Domodedovo International Airport in 2002 with domestic flights to Surgut, Tyumen and Khanty-Mansiysk. Since these modest beginnings, UTair has diversified its route network to encompass not only the Russian regions, but the entire nation and destinations abroad as well. Since September, 2012, UTair has launched seven additional regular and charter flights from Domodedovo to Surgut, Tyumen, Antalya, Hurghada, Barcelona, Sharm El Sheikh and Lankaran.

    Over the past 10 years the number of UTair passengers choosing Domodedovo as their preferred point of entry to Moscow and Russia has grown steadily. In just the first two years of cooperation, passenger traffic increased by 170%. Today, the 10 year of cooperation, UTair has served more than 2.78 million people at Domodedovo.
