USRoadWarriors.Com Launches with Four Niche Recruitment Sites for Professional Drivers
Lifestyle, careers, news and information sites focus on building a positive image of the transportation industry.
- (1888PressRelease) August 31, 2016 - Round Rock, TX, USA - USRW LLC, parent company of USRoadWarriors.com (http://www.usroadwarriors.com), a lifestyle, careers, news and information portal for professional drivers and truckers, has announced the launch of four niche recruitment sites designed to appeal to a broad group of transportation professionals.
DriverJobCenter.com (http://www.driverjobcenter.com) focuses on all individuals that make their living behind the wheel including local delivery drivers, OTR or "Over the Road" truckers, dump truck drivers and even corporate drivers for companies like FEDEX or UPS.
"Most trucker sites unintentionally exclude these drivers. Having just returned from the GATS Great American Trucking show in Dallas, I found that there were many large employers seeking drivers of all kinds represented at the show," noted Carl Braun, Co-Founder and Publisher of USRoadWarriors.com.
Braun has a 20-year history in the job board industry starting with his first site in 1996 called Hire-Power.com. He has since launched dozens of job boards in niche categories like diversity trucking and veterans. USRoadWarriors.com follows the trend with several sites designed to appeal to growth opportunity segments in the industry.
With only 6% of drivers being female, job board GirlsNTrucks.com (http://www.girlsntrucks.com) appeals to perhaps the largest hiring opportunity for the transportation industry. DiverseDriver.com (http://www.diversedriver.com) seeks out minority drivers and VeteranDriver.com (http://www.veterandriver.com) helps connect companies with returning military and veterans, a very active segment largely due to the patriotic nature of trucking companies and the unique skills many veterans bring to their future employers.
Each of these sites provides visitors with original content and articles written specifically for women, minorities and veterans along with thousands of job opportunities with companies highly motivated to consider them.
There is currently a 73.500 driver shortage in the US and the American Trucking Association projects an 890,000 driver shortage over the next decade.
"Transportation employers are faced with tough decisions today and in the future. The average age of drivers is 52 and the market is overwhelmingly white and male. Over the next several years, many of these drivers will retire leaving a huge gap in the space. Actively recruiting women, minorities and veterans will play an important role in filling the growing needs," Braun said.
USRoadWarriors.com intends to help build the image of the trucking industry into one where everyone is welcome to join and the career opportunities are appreciated for their stability, pay and mobile lifestyle.
