USFOODTODAY, home to the popular World Famous Seafood Kit rolled out its Southern Holiday Dinner and their sales toppled its previous year earnings.

The kits are made by southern chefs employed by the brand and fashioned from handmade Turkey, Cornbread Dressing, Macaroni and Cheese and desserts. For some markets, it was the first time customers could have a private chef prepare their holiday meal. But one thing seemed consistent for the retailer: interest in handmade, well seasoned food has never been higher.
“We have a domestic brand this holiday season, so we wanted to make sure it was visible and it as a great option for all consumers,” product manager Hollis Herald of Magic Foods, the retailer which owns branded kits.
