USA Emergency Broadcasting Network Adds National Geographic's Top 'Prepper' Capt. William E. Simpson To It's Team Of Professionals
Capt. William E. Simpson Joins USA EBN As Writer And Content Provider.
- (1888PressRelease) July 12, 2013 - USA Emergency Broadcasting Network and Capt. William E. Simpson (AKA: 'Capt. Bill') have entered into an agreement where USA EBN will have access and use of select content and articles relating to disaster preparedness (AKA: prepping) that will be provided by Capt. Simpson.
Many people know Capt. Simpson from the hit National Geographic TV show 'Doomsday Preppers', which featured Capt. Simpson in March of 2013 episode titled 'A Fortress At Sea'. At the season conclusion of that show, Capt Simpson was named as National Geographic's 'Best Prepper' and was awarded the highest score in the history of that TV series (http://tvblogs.nationalgeographic.com/2013/03/20/and-the-best-prepper-is).
However, Capt. Simpson's experience extends well beyond the world of reality television. He has a unique combination of professional and vocational skill sets combined with extensive hands-on experience in long-term off-the-grid survival, also known as 'survival engineering' (a 'term' coined by Capt. Simpson), including emergency operations and long-range communications. Capt. Simpson has been commentated by the U.S. Coast Guard for his role in a search and rescue operation that resulted in the successful rescue of two sailors lost overboard in the Pacific Ocean off Hawaii. More recently Capt. Simpson was again 'walking the talk' when he and his wife were instrumental in a daring rescue operation that took place during a storm in the Sea of Cortez, which also resulted in a life being saved:

About USA EBN
The 21st century, thus far, as turned out to be one emergency after another; 911 attacks, Anthrax attack, Katrina, Hugo, Andrew, tornadoes in the mid-west, Washington DC earthquake and now Super storm Sandy. It has not only tested but has made it painfully evident that American Readiness to these disasters is inadequate at best, especially when it comes down to communications. One of the major problems with our readiness program is the lack of communications between first responders, and the general public, as evident with the 911 system collapse during the Washington DC earthquake and the almost failure of the 911 system during Hurricane Sandy.
Common Sense Preparedness Digital Broadcasting has teamed up with other emergency organizations (government and non-government) to create a new informational source that will bring the American population reliable, verifiable emergency information. This new endeavor is called USA Emergency Broadcasting Network.
Common Sense Preparedness will be the flagship of this new network and we will bring you the information that is needed during times of disasters. As usual we will not talk politics or conspiracies; there is too much propaganda out there already. We will focus on information that will help you prepare for and respond to any type of disaster that you might face, natural, man-made or personal.
During times of disaster USA Emergency Broadcasting Network will operate a Virtual Emergency Operational Center in order to receive and distribute emergency information to the general public. A live / pre-recorded radio station will also be broadcasting this information and can be found on various internet radio sites and our web site, www.usaebn.org
