- (1888PressRelease) June 03, 2020 - In the latest Flight Global news, ‘US Air Force (USAF) chief of staff nominee General Charles Brown plans to make pursuit of the Pentagon’s Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) battlefield network concept one of the service’s highest priorities’*. There is an emphasis to prioritise a joint battlefield network across domains, to maintain the military edge for joint operations with US Army and US Navy. The USAF is working hard on developing the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS), to pursue a capability for all assets to support all services.
With that in mind, SMi Group’s 11th annual Air Mission Planning and Support will reconvene in London on the 6th – 7th October 2020. Delegates will hear insight from key military figures from across the world speaking at the two-day meeting, where they will discuss their experience in air mission planning.
