In 1982 he was included in a group exhibition at Fashion Moda New York City, titled "The South Bronx Show" where his work stayed on exhibition three years.
With a degree in textile design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Lamboy designed clothing for singers such as Janet Jackson, Anita Baker, all the way to DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince as well as a children's line of clothing that sold throughout the US. During 1987 he also worked on a variety of projects including the backdrop for Steam Pipe Alley, MTV, and a giant backdrop for DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's last tour.
After dozens of exhibitions and group shows all over the world, in 2005 Lamboy was filmed for a documentary by EAC called "From the spray can to the canvas". He is still involved with the fashion industry designing back packs, shirts and a jewelry line for several companies including Saks and FOTW; in 2007 he designed 4 pairs of limited edition Nike Air Jordans as well as two designer watches for Jacob & Co.
