Upgraded Resource Estimates by Greenland Minerals for Multi-Element Project of Kvanefield

- (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2011 - Subiaco Western Australia: Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd released upgraded resource estimates for Kvanefield multi-element project. According to the estimate by the Greenland Minerals, the Kvanefield has total resource of 619 Mt which has increased by 172Mt as compared to last estimates. The indicated resources have been estimated at 437Mt with the increase of 72 Mt. As far as metal inventory is concerned the estimate tells that the project has total 6.6 Mt rare earth oxides, 350 Mlbs U3O8 Uranium and 3 Blbs Zinc.
SRK consulting has prepared the latest estimates in compliant with the prescribed code. The code is prescribed by Australian Join Ore Reserve Committee for reporting mineral resources. The reason behind improvements in the estimates could be the further drilling at Kvanefield during 2009 and 2010, new geological model generated, and development of new methodology to domain the unique multi-element resources by Greenland Minerals.
