UPES Organized First Integrated Technical Festival IGNITE 2013
UPES organized first technical fest IGNITE 2013, involving Engineering, Law, Management faculties. Around 70 technical events covering various streams were organized by different collegiate clubs.
- (1888PressRelease) February 28, 2013 - UPES's first integrated (Engineering - Law - Management) technical festival IGNITE 2013 was organized in the UPES campus from 21st Feb to 23rd Feb 2013. Around 70 technical events covering various streams were organized by different collegiate clubs.
Besides 1200 plus UPES students, more than 200 non UPES students participated in these events during IGNITE. Many eminent speakers like Dr. D. M. Katre (President, Reliance Petro Chemical, Patalganga), Prof. M. M. Sharma (Padma Vibhushan, FRS), Mr. Karthikeyan Natrajan (CEO, Mahindra Satyam), Mr. Sumit Barat (GM, Bird Worldwide Air Services), Mr. Sujith Pant (Genefer Aerospace), Mr. Arun K Ranganathan (Head - Energy, Centre of Excellence, Infosys Technologies), Dr. B. S. Gupta (Ex-Director, CBRI - Roorkee), Dr. S.K. Agarwal (Scientist CBRI, Roorkee) & many more.. delivered talks during three days of festival which were attended by huge audience from faculty as well as students.
Organizing such a mega festival requires long planning, day and night hard work with full dedication and support from everywhere in UPES. We are enthralled by the support & participation from the students, faculties, UPES Administration and UPES Management to make IGNITE'13 a huge success and an endeavouring event. We duly acknowledge the help and support extended to us during IGNITE 2013.
