Unity Bank Car Show on June 24th Supports Family Promise and Arc of Hunterdon County
The 6th Annual Crusin' Bob's Classic Car Show will be held at Unity Bank on Sunday, June 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event benefits Family Promise of Hunterdon County, Inc. and the Arc of Hunterdon County.
- Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, PA (1888PressRelease) June 01, 2012 - Unity Bank will host the 6th Annual Crusin' Bob's Classic Car Show on Sunday, June 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Clinton headquarters branch, benefitting Family Promise of Hunterdon County, Inc. and the Arc of Hunterdon County. Sponsorships and registration fees to compete in the classic car competition help raise funds for important community services.
The event is part of Unity Bank's continuing collaboration with Family Promise, which provides temporary housing to those in need and homeless prevention services through the Interfaith Hospitality Network. From helping Family Promise clients establish bank accounts to supporting numerous events throughout the year and responding to unique requests such as providing Christmas gifts for an entire family, Unity Bank has established strong community partnership with the organization.

"The event is really a great time with all the classic automobiles on display and hundreds of people come out for a wonderful day of family fun. Dickens Lane Jewelers & Wedding Center is the presenting sponsor for the car show, which is held at Unity Bank, 64 Old Highway 22 in Clinton. Music is provided by Doctor D. Entertainment and there will be games, prizes, food and dozens of great classic cars. Winners will be drawn throughout the day who will have an opportunity to grab cash for 30 seconds in the Unity Bank Blizzard of Dollars booth.
"The event has become a great success in large part because of the many sponsors and classic car owners who help us raise funds for these important community organizations," said Hughes. "We encourage local residents, companies and organizations to join us in this important endeavor."

ARC of Hunterdon County provides support, training and opportunities to persons with developmental disabilities, enabling them to achieve the greatest degree of independence and productivity and, in turn, become contributing, responsible, and proud members of society. Family Promise is the only homeless shelter in Hunterdon County and provides services to both help overcome and prevent homelessness through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) - a network of 51 congregations and more than 1,000 volunteers who provide overnight/weekend shelter, home-cooked meals, and companionship to families who enter the program for an average of two months. Comprehensive case management, licensed counseling services and a donation program are also available.
